Tips on Foot Odor

Many people experience problems with foot odor. Here are a few tips you can use to help reduce the smell coming from your shoes, socks, and feet, courtesy of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons:

-Wash feet thoroughly each day with soap and water, then dry thoroughly to prevent bacterial growth. You need to take extra care to dry between your toes, as these area are likely to be the site of athlete's foot and other infections.
-Change shoes and socks frequently, at least once a day. This will help keep your feet dry.
