This week marks Halloween in Findlay Ohio, and with it some opportunities for scary fun. Remember these events coming up for you and your family:

-Tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 27 is the City of Findlay Halloween parade. The parade takes place on Main St. and begins at 7:00pm. The parade also doubles as a community food drive.

-The City of Findlay's Trick or Treat will be on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Remember to carry a flashlight to make yourself visible to traffic, remove masks when crossing streets, visit well lit areas, and only visit houses whose porch lights are on. Check all candy before eating it and make sure it is in its original packaging. Don't forget that capes, long robes, walking staffs, and other props and costume elements can be dangerous and cause you to trip, so be extra cautious.

-This is also the last weekend for the Train of Terror and Haunted Engine House It will run on Friday and Saturday October 30 and 31 Time: 8:00 to 11:00pm. Visitors will take a frightening nighttime quarter-scale steam train ride past the eerie forest. Those that survive the ride will then try to find their way through the twists and turns inside the dark haunted engine house. The cost is $6.00 for the train ride and engine house package. Waiting area is inside the building. Recommended for teens and young adults only! Easy to find at the northeast corner of I-75 Exit #161 and County Rd. 99 at the north end of Findlay, just west of Reineke Ford. For more information, log onto www.nworrp.org/haunted.

We hope you get a chance to enjoy a few of the seasonal treats available in the Findlay area.
