Time for the Olympics!
It is once again time for the winter Olympics! This once-every-four-year event is always an incredibly entertaining highlight of the abilities of athletes from all over the world. And it's also a great chance to cheer on your countrymen as they compete on a world wide stage. For me, I enjoy the Olympics because of all the stories that go along with the various athlete's accomplishments. Hearing how much time and effort goes into their training, and knowing the sacrifices they make to compete in the name of our country is quite inspiring. Many have even overcome serious disease or injury, and serve as a testament to the power of both the human body and will. I certainly have already been caught up in the Olympics over their first weekend. If you are like me, and enjoy the Olympics and learning about the athletes, then you should visit our blog specifically for this purpose at http://olympicsfootdoc.blogspot.com/. This blog is our office's blog specifically for following the Olympics. It will have interesting stories, and updates on injuries suffered by the athletes, as well as common injuries that you may experience, especially when participating in some of your favorite Olympic sports (like skiing or skating). This is a great place to get further education on your footcare as it relates to your favorite athletic activities. We hope you enjoy it!
