Some warning signs that your shoes do not fit correctly:
-Squashed toes: If you can feel the ends of your shoes with your toes, this may be a sign that your shoes are too small. There should always be a little room in the end of your shoes.
-The sides of your shoes gape when you walk: This is a sign that your shoes are too wide. Not all manufacturers offer different widths in shoes, so it is important that you check the width, and it can be helpful to familiarize yourself with shoe manufacturers who do offer alternative width shoes.
-Your feet slide out of your shoes: This is a sign that your shoes are too big, or perhaps not fastened correctly (shoe strings tied, clasps or zippers secured). Feeling like your shoes may fall off is not only annoying, it can interfere with how you walk.
-Blisters, Bunions, Rubbed or sore spots. If you find that certain pairs of your shoes cause or make any of these problems worsen, it may indicate an area that is too tight in your shoe. It is uncomfortable and even painful to continue to use shoes that cause or make bunions, blisters, and rubbed or sore spots worse.
