Happy, Healthy Foot Christmas

Feet enjoy Christmas morning too. Getting out of bed to slide into a pair of warm, comfortable slippers makes the season cozy and comfortable for feet too. Feet love to be wrapped in blankets and warmed by the fire. You will likely spend a great deal of time on your feet during the Christmas season. Even after Christmas you will probably spend a good deal of time shopping, using gift cards and making returns. Don't neglect you feet: wear the right foot wear for a full day of walking. Remember your feet with these great last minute or post-Christmas gift ideas:

1. Slippers. Everyone loves the warmth and comfort of their favorite slippers. If your are old, replace them with a new pair. Slippers are easy to find and inexpensive.

2. Shoes. We all love buying new shoes and finding shoes to match the right outfit. Give a gift card, or use one, to get new shoes. Make sure you try on any purchases and walk a few laps around the store to get an idea of their fit.

3. Socks. Getting seasonal or fun socks can be a fun way to inject a little color into both your wardrobe and your life. You can also get specialty socks, like slipper socks. Socks can be a good idea for the heavy sweater in your life. People with over-active sweat glands in their feet are more susceptible to fungal infections like athlete's foot or toenail infections. Purchasing them a pair or two of moisture wicking socks can save them time, hassle, embarrassment, and effort in treating these types of infection.

4. Foot related sports equipment. Sports equipment is great as it encourages you to exercise and have fun doing it. Consider buying a football, soccer ball, or other foot-related sports equipment for yourself or a loved one.

5. Music. Buy some of your favorite music. Why? To encourage dancing! Dancing is great exercise, and great for the soul. And there is no need to be embarrassed about your skill level when dancing alone in the privacy of your own home. Close those blinds!

6. Footcare products. There are few better ways to feel completely relaxed and pampered as treating your feet. Foot massagers, callus removers (emery boards, pumice stones, callus files), moisturizers, foot soaks and soaking crystals, paraffin wax treatments, nail care products (polishes, fungal treatments), and many other foot-pampering tools make great gifts.
