Zoo Lights Walking Tour
Take advantage of local holiday spirit by visiting the Toledo Zoo's "Lights Before Christmas". This program is an excellent way to experience the Toledo Zoo and some great displays of Christmas Lights. The event features over one million lights, over 200 images of some of your favorite animals, ice-carving demonstrations on Thursday evenings, carolers, holiday treats, the Swanton Area Railroad model trains, and visits with Santa in the Indoor Theatre (through December 23rd). The Zoo also features and 85 foot Norway Spruce which is covered in over 32, 000 lights! There is also a Dancing Lights show featuring state-of-the-art LED wide-angle mini-lights, synchronized to classic holiday tunes. The Zoo Lights will run through December 31, so there is plenty of time left to enjoy this holiday tradition. Take advantage of getting out with your family or friends, enjoying the wildlife, and the exercise. Make sure to wear good quality walking shoes to avoid any foot complications.
